On the Blog track

I first (seriously) started thinking about blogging after a conversation i had with my sister about our shared inability to correspond. The road to hell / good intentions and all that. That conversation came around the same time as an email from Ian about a cool email project turned book / web site called love-life
It got me thinking about alternate ways to stay in touch, or more accurately, how i would make use of some ways which already existed. Starting a blog seemed like one way that could make sense, be fun and not be too demanding. I'm pretty lazy, so a blog could be whenever, whatever. Visit, don't visit. Daily, weekly, every waxing moon... You get the picture.
What pushed me over the edge, was how much i enjoyed following Ian's blog entries while he was at Macworld Expo. I became a little obsessed with wanting to keep up to date in real time and ended up downloading all the software he was finding out about. (and buying Tiger, so that i could run it) I'm over the obsession now (No need for a restraining order, Ian) but have become (a little) hooked on checking out the "blogoshere", so i am looking forward to staking out a tiny little corner of it, myself.
Check in from time to time. Post a comment if you feel like it. Or don't. I won't even know you were here.
