Randy Bachman's Vinyl Tap

While CBC radio (one) continues its downhill slide, I am still finding much of the evening programing compelling. Randy Bachman's Vinyl Tap has become one of K's and my favorites.
We really liked listening to Finkleman's 45s on the way to the cabin on Saturday night. Great music, and lots of fun dissing Danny and his rants.
Vinyl Tap is the replacement , Sat 7-9 (in Winnipeg) and it combines really great music and Randy's very cool perspective on the life of music and musicians. Each installment follows a theme. (tonight is cover tunes) It is non-stop informative and entertaining. K and i have even taken to just sitting in front of the radio and listening.
Imagine just sitting and listening to the radio. Think it will catch on?
Anyway, it is hard to come away without wanting to check out at least one artist that Randy has introduced you to.

Looking forward to having Randy along on the drive to the cabin.
