A little weird
Normaly, I don't ascribe too much significance to odd coincidences. Well, okay, never.
But sometimes I wonder if maybe I should.
Last night I was watching 'The Recruit' on TV. It's rare for me to watch movies on broadcast TV. (The internet just doesn't allow me the free time) And, yes, I actually watched ALL of it.
At one point Al Pacino's character is explaining to Colin Farrel's character a reference to Kurt Vonnegut's book, 'Cat's Cradle'. At which point I think that if I get nothing else from this movie, at least I have been reminded to read a little of my Vonnegut library.
And then this morning (I imagine you've leapt ahead) I learn that K.V. DIED yesterday.
Up until yesterday, I hadn't really given him any thought for years.
So, like I said, a little weird.
Cat's Cradle is moving to the bedside table.
