Art City Parade
Art City (as most of you know) is a great community drop in center in West Broadway.
Every year the kids (of all ages) plan and create floats and banners and such during July and then present it all in a fabulous parade. Just before the parade, there is hat making and face painting and bike decorating. After the parade there are snacks and games and entertainment.
Everyone has a great time, and I think the weather has been cooperative every year. 2007 was no exception.
Normally I have had to work on the day of the parade, and would only get to see it through pictures. This year I was fortunate to be able to participate and to make some of those pictures.
