Another great day in Dublin (day 3)
Today we spent the bulk of our time at the Guiness brewery. Surrounding the worlds largest beer glass / central atrium is a fantastic self guiding tour, and museum about this 250 year old company. Of course I thought it might be a little lame, but my cynicism was misplaced. Well worth the visit. We started the day with scones and coffee (and 'free' apples) at the Hilton around the corner. We went back for a stroll through Iveagh Gardens to finish checking out the fabulous art show. Elise went off to work, and Kathy and I walked to the Guiness brewery. After the brewery tour, we walked along the Liffey, picked up some groceries, and spent the evening in the flat. Jump on to the photo set here.
Day 4 will be a bus tour of the highlights of Dublin.
There might even be pictures
Also the closer the gate the better it tastes,.. please confirm.
(I did the tour as well, thought it was pretty cool)
Over and over.
So... It must be true.
And Guiness draught from a can in Canada, will never taste quite right again.
