Ireland - the final days
So not only did the posting start to get a little less than regular, but it is now 2 weeks after our return as I make the last Ireland trip post.
We just got too busy (and we were away) to keep posting daily. Plus there seemed to be this 'rule' about not spending potentially ideal vacation time on the computer. So I was often posting while the others were sleeping.
The trip, as you may have surmised by now, was GREAT!
During our last week back in Dublin, we went to the Zoo, did some shopping, and of course just some more walking around taking in the sights. Kathy and I joined Gene on his weekly train trip to Belfast. He worked. We were tourists. Elise Kathy and I did another DART trip. This time we walked from Dalkey to Killiney, and when we got back Gene had cooked a very tasty leg o' lamb for our last meal.
