Farewell feline friend
Today was a sad day.
Magnet was part of our family for 14 1/2 years. She was full of character, even right up until today. Her health has been in decline for several months, and on Wednesday, she sunk very low, and it was clear that even though she was still very willful, she had turned a corner from being baffled by her condition to moving into suffering, as a result of it.
The folks at Tuxedo Animal hospital were very sensitive and caring, and were able to shepherd us through a difficult circumstance, and put Maggie to rest without distress. We will miss her.
And as this happened on all hallow's eve, Kathy's most excellent pumpkin carving job (as always), is also a fitting tribute to our departed friend.
